UK Christmas Traditions – A home education session for children age 11-16 years.
Join volunteers in the museum for this immersive session as we take a trip back in time to discover where our Christmas traditions have come from and help to decorate the Christmas tree in the Daniel Gumb Room.
Why Santa wears red ~ Why Christmas Crackers crack and many more Christmas traditions. Then have a go at making your own Christmas Christmas Crackers.
Snaps, and cracker parts provided but if you wish to bring small objects to place inside (i.e. small toys, sweets etc) then you are very welcome or purchase small objects from the Tourist Information Shop.
