Description

Join us in the museum on Monday 4th January for our first home education session for 2027.

Medicine through time is a fascinating topic and one which is often part of the GCSE history syllabus. We will look at key figures including the father of plastic surgery, the doctor who discovered penicillin and one of the top women in her time Marie Curie to name a few.

We will get hands on with a short experiment, plus we will have pieces from our own collection bought out from stores for this session.

Session aimed at children aged 11-16
